Practice the decisions you make underwater.

One dive, six skills. Tap a stop to play.

01

Trim

Buoyancy · 2 to 5 min

One control: hold to inflate, let go to vent. Boyle does the rest. Fly a new reef every day and race your own ghost.

Fly today's reef
02

Margin

Gas planning · 2 to 4 min

Plan your turn pressure and minimum gas, then swim the dive. The reef pays more the farther you go. Your gauge says when to leave.

03

Bearing

Navigation · 2 to 4 min

Your phone is the compass. Turn your body to set a heading, count kick cycles, and find your way back to where you started.

Take a bearing
04

Hold

Safety stops · 2 to 3 min

Three minutes at five metres on your breathing alone, while the swell, a light cylinder, the jellyfish and a jammed reel try to move you. A new stop every day.

Hold the stop
05

Signal

Hand signals · 1 to 2 min

Your buddy signals, you read it or answer it, against the clock. In murk you get one look. At night it is all torch. And OK is a question: answer with what is true.

Read your buddy
06

Overhead

Cave · the final dive · 2 to 3 min

A cave dive, and the only way out is back. Everything the other four teach, at once: fly off the silt, turn on thirds, follow the line out by touch when the water goes dark.
